Our latest Marlburian Monday, entitled ‘Journalism in a Changing World’, was presented by Rachel Corp (TU 1988-89).
Rachel Corp is Chief Executive Officer of ITN, overseeing one of the largest independent production companies in the UK, currently creating 50+ hours of TV a week plus 7bn+ views of digital content annually. ITN produces Emmy and Bafta-winning news programmes and content for the UK’s commercial Public Service Broadcasters ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 alongside award-winning factual content for global streamers and international broadcasters, major brands and digital platforms. Prior to becoming CEO, Rachel was Editor of ITV News where she led the team behind celebrated exclusive and original reporting in the UK and globally.
Rachel regularly speaks publicly advocating for the importance of high-quality, impartial, trusted news for UK and global audiences, the unique role of British public service media and the need for continued prominence for news in a non-linear world. She is passionate about the role of DEI, change on and off screen and is the chair of Women in Journalism.
