The Marlburian Club Garden Party

On 23rd June 2024, we will be hosting the Marlburian Club Garden Party* for Old Marlburians, families and friends, which provides the perfect opportunity for you to return to Marlborough.

See below the timetable of activities for the day along with our programme and a map of the campus.




Registration and welcome refreshments

Drop off unused musical instruments for Simon Arnold (B1 1971-76) to send to a charity in Africa

Bring your old photos and pin them on the Memories Board to reminisce about your time at Marlborough

Welcome from the President of the Club, Christopher Carpmael (C1 1980-84) followed by The Making of the Memorial Hall by David Du Croz (CR 1996-07).

Walking Tour of The Marlborough Castle with David Du Croz (CR 1996-07)**

Gong bath taster session with Julia Edwards (MM 1991-93)** which will immerse you in soothing and energising soundwaves from gongs, drums and singing bowls to help you relax and revitalise your mind, body and spirit

Meet outside Norwood Hall

From 2pm

Enjoy a range of family friendly activities including stilt walkers, live music, face painting, OM magician Michael King (CO 1970-74) and an insight into Marlborough’s Rare Book Collection.

The Mount House Gallery will be open between 2-3pm showing an art display by Grace Payne-Kumar, the College’s Artist-in-Residence

At 2.30pm, watch the birds of prey display and have the chance to meet the birds afterwards

The OM hockey match will start at 3pm in celebration of 150 Year of Hockey at Marlborough

Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon including, Pimms, Strawberries and Cream and tacos from our food truck.
