Alumni Relations Manager - Kate Goodwin

Kate joined the Development team in September 2013 and became Alumni Relations Manager early in 2014. She liaises closely with the Marlburian Club President, Chairman, Committee and Development team to grow the offer to Club Members, such as the introduction of MC Global Connect, an engaging program of both social and professional networking events and the mentoring program.

Kate began her career as a Stage Manager and was involved with a wide variety of productions ranging from Panto at York Theatre Royal to ‘Cats’ at The New London Theatre in Drury Lane. Following this she worked for both Theatrical and Literary Agencies before a sideways move into Publishing at Transworld, part of the Random House Group. She left Transworld to work as a Private PA and Administrator to a small Charitable Trust and, more recently, as an Events Organiser.

Alumni Relations Assistant - Alex Martin

An alumnus of Ardingly College, Alex joined the team as Alumni Relations Assistant in April 2016. She has past experience in performance management and policy co-ordination at the British Transport Police, policy administration at Victim Support and mentoring work with Crime Concern.

She works closely with Kate Goodwin helping run the day-to-day activities of the Marlburian Club and works term time only.

Events Manager - Fiona Cottrill

Fiona joined in March 2015 to run events for OMs, Parents and Development. Since her arrival, working alongside the Alumni team, our Club events programme has expanded in the hope that many of you will be encouraged back to the College to meet your peers.

Her background is in marketing and she worked previously for The Children’s Society, where she ran events for the Legacies Team and was involved in producing creative content for fundraising campaigns.
