As Harriet take on her third and final challenge to raise money for the The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of her son, Bobby Cox, she writes:

“I have now completed my Sprint Triathlon at Blenheim and as term draws to a close this week, Mrs Playfair and I are off to take on the Burgh Island Swim, which is a 2 mile open water swim around this beautiful island, just off the south Devon coast near Salcombe. Mary Alexander (EL 2005-2010) is joining me for the swim, she also helped raise funds in memory of Bobby, joining us for one of our first fund raising events in 2016, which was a 100km bike ride.  

I am not a swimmer, so I feel very nervous about this upcoming challenge but I will be thinking about Bobby all the way and with the support of my friends, I am sure that I will make it round the course. So far we have raised nearly £7,000 and with a target of £10,000 – I am confident that we can reach it over the weekend. 

I hope you will feel able to support us in this challenge, every donation will make a huge difference to the ongoing development of treatments for brain tumours, which is a very under funded cancer. The Brain Tumour Charity do incredible work and make a real difference to so many lives!”
