Bobby Cox, son of Harriet (CR 2002-Present) and Paul, sister to Phoebe (IH 2019-24) died in 2014, aged 5, from a Medulloblastoma. This year would have seen him turn 18 and complete his U6th year at the College. Since their loss, the family has raised over £300,000 for both the John Radcliffe Children’s Hospital and The Brain Tumour Charity, much of it enabled by the support of the Marlborough College community.
To mark his 18th birthday, Harriet Cox is taking on 3 challenges which include a 10km run last February, a triathlon in June and a 2-mile open water swim in July. Some amazing colleagues – Katie Holder, Hettie Martin-Hierro and Emma Playfair plus an old Elmhurstians, Mary Alexander (EL 2005-10) have also signed up to complete some of the challenges with Harriet.
