This year, we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Barton Hill. Whilst some Shell lived in House beforehand, it was in September 1974 that Barton Hill became a full Boarding House of 60 boys from the Shell to Upper Sixth.

For some, Barton Hill may seem like a lifetime ago, and others will have left as recently as a year ago but you will all have your own memories of “The Hill”. Work is already underway to celebrate the anniversary and we look forward to announcing these plans with “Barton Hillians” soon.

Alongside some plans for current boys & parents we have two events for OMs:

• Drinks on House of Lords terrace: Wednesday 18th September 2024;
• Black-tie dinner at Marlborough with the chance to visit the newly refurbished Barton Hill: Friday 14th March 2025.
