Entrepreneurs Networking Event

OMs and Parents attended our recent Entrepreneurs networking event focussing on start-up strategies for growth, exit and opportunities for the future. With the Marlburian network having such a diverse community of business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, this allowed creative and innovative ideas to flourish.

As well as networking over drinks, a panel discussion with Alex Price (LI 2006-11), exited founder of a digital company in the tech sector, Freddie Garland (BH 2001-06), founder of Freddie’s Flowers, and Hannah McCollum (MM 2003-08), CEO and founder at ChicP, was at the centre of the evening. This was moderated by Antonia Halliday (nee Whitehead NC 2001-06), who provides venture capital and private equity firms with executive search and advisory services.

Kindly hosted by Charlie Channing-Williams (TU 2002-07) and attended by over 70 members of the Marlburian Community, the evening was a fantastic opportunity to allow thoughts to be shared and discussions to carry on long after the event. If you’re not already signed up to our Professional Networking groups, you can do so here.
