Roger Ellis, A Service of Thanksgiving
You will by now have heard of the sad news that Roger Ellis died on 14th February 2023, aged 93. We are pleased to announce a date on which we will remember this special man.
We warmly invite you to join us and Roger’s wife Margaret and their family at a Service of Thanksgiving for Roger’s life, to be held in the College Chapel at 2:00pm on Sunday 17th September. There will be refreshments afterwards in a marquee in Court and an opportunity to share our memories of Roger.
Roger had a distinguished career as a teacher and headmaster, including as Master of Marlborough for 14 years (1972-86). We do hope that you will be able to join our community on this important occasion.
