Coulson running for Children with Cancer UK

Dom Coulson (C1 2013-18) is running the Edinburgh Half Marathon this Sunday in aid of Children with Cancer UK.

Coulson, who has several caps for Kenya’s senior rugby team to his name, has been putting in the miles to train for the event which starts with the picturesque backdrop of The University of Edinburgh’s McEwan Hall, before leading runners past many iconic sights of the city.

His charity of choice is Children With Cancer UK – which is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against all childhood cancers.

Speaking ahead of the event, Coulson said: “I wish there were more of a story behind my choice for the charity other than believing that although no one deserves to go through the pain and suffering brought on by cancer and its treatment, children, in particular, do not deserve this.

“This is why I aim to raise as much money as possible to help more children ring their end-of-treatment bell.”
