Do you know an Old Marlburian who has gone above and beyond to support their community or make a positive difference in society?

Perhaps they have established a food bank, helped refugees settle into a new environment, supported threatened or displaced communities, worked to reduce environmental damage, or improved the health and welfare of people or wildlife. You may know an Old Marlburian who, despite facing illness or personal adversity, has used their experience to help and inspire others in similar circumstances.

The OM of the Year Award recognises one individual each year who, during the past twelve months, has selflessly given their time and talents to others, or demonstrated exceptional courage, bravery, or resilience in the face of adversity. The award celebrates the contribution an Old Marlburian has made to society and reflects Marlborough’s core values of Community, Ambition, Service, and Initiative.

We know that Old Marlburians across the world make a meaningful difference in many ways. The Club is seeking to recognise one individual who, over the past year, has generously dedicated their time and talents to others, or shown outstanding courage or resilience during challenging circumstances. Their actions should have enriched or inspired others and may include voluntary or humanitarian work undertaken independently or as part of an organisation.

If you know an Old Marlburian who deserves recognition, we warmly encourage you to Submit your nomination for this award. The recipient will be announced at the Club’s Annual General Meeting in October.

To be considered, nominations should clearly demonstrate the positive impact made as a direct result of the nominee’s commitment and involvement. Supporting examples of this impact should be included with the nomination.
