John Dancy Memorial – Sunday 19th June 2022
You will know of the very sad news that John Dancy passed away on 29th December 2019, aged 99, and of the subsequent postponement of his Memorial Service in 2020. At this juncture, we are pleased to announce a new date on which we will remember this very special man.
We warmly invite you to join us and John’s family at a Memorial Service in memory of John, to be held in the College Chapel at 2:00pm on Sunday 19th June. There will be refreshments afterwards in the Norwood Hall and an opportunity to share our memories of John.
John, a progressive educationalist, enjoyed a distinguished career, including as Master of Marlborough (1961-72) and remained a close friend of this community throughout his life. We do hope that you will be able to join our community on this important occasion.
