Marlburian Monday – Diana Fox Carney (SU 1981-83) ‘Climate Change: Progress to Date & Challenges Ahead’

The first Marlburian Monday talk of the new year, entitled ‘Climate Change: Progress to Date and Challenges Ahead’ will be given by Diana Fox Carney (SU 1981-83) at 8pm on Monday 17th January.

Diana is a widely respected expert on global climate and energy policy. She has held leadership roles in think tanks and convening organisations in Canada and the UK and works with both NGOs and the private sector. She will be joined by Amy Paterson (LI 2008-10) who works for SYSTEMIQ, a systems change company that partners with business, finance, policy-makers, and civil society to make economic systems truly sustainable.

Diana and Amy will discuss the current climate situation; the advancements being made as well as the challenges ahead. This will be followed by an opportunity for audience members to ask questions.
