Marlburian Monday – Lady Carnarvon ’21st Century Stately Homes: 1000 years of History’

We are delighted to announce that Marlburian Mondays are back!

The first Marlburian Monday talk of this academic year, entitled ’21st Century Stately Homes: 1000 years of History’ will be given by Lady Fiona Carnarvon tonight at 8pm.

Lady Carnarvon and her husband, the 8th Earl of Carnarvon, manage and run the highly successful Highclere Castle; attracting visitors from all over the world. The Countess will discuss living in a castle as well as some of the history of Highclere.

Hosted by Club President Catherine Stewart (LI 1974-76), the talk will last for approximately half an hour and be followed by a Q&A.
