
Marlburian Monday – Dr Nick Denny (SU 1965-69) ‘Experiences of a Flying Doctor’
Thank you to all those who have been tuning in to our recent virtual events. The next Marlburian Monday talk, entitled ‘Experiences of a Flying Doctor’ will be given by Dr Nick Denny (SU 1965-69) at 8pm on Monday 10th April.
Nick left Marlborough and trained at St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School, qualifying in 1974. Based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, he worked as a medical officer for The Royal Flying Doctor Service from 1977. During his talk Nick will recount his experiences as well as some history of the Flying Doctors.
Hosted by Club President Catherine Stewart (LI 1974-76), the talk will last for approximately half an hour and be followed by a Q&A.
