Marlburian Monday – Robin Janvrin (B1 1960-64) ‘Three Careers and An Afterlife’

Thank you to all those who have been tuning in to our recent virtual events. The next Marlburian Monday talk, entitled ‘Three Careers and An Afterlife’ will be given by Lord Janvrin (B1 1960-64) at 8pm on Monday 26th April.

Robin Janvrin was The Queen’s Private Secretary from 1998-2007 and spent twenty years working at Buckingham Palace, but before that was for eleven years in the Royal Navy and thirteen years a diplomat serving in NATO Brussels and India as well as the Foreign Office in London.  Since his time with The Queen he has been a member of the House of Lords and involved in a number of public institutions and charities.  Robin will discuss his experiences and reflect on some of the lessons learned along the way.

Hosted by Club President Catherine Stewart (LI 1974-76), the talk will last for approximately half an hour and be followed by a Q&A.
