Thank you to all those who have been tuning in to our recent virtual events. The next Marlburian Monday talk, entitled ‘The Fight Against Modern Slavery’ will be given by Julia de Boinville (TU 2006-08) at 8pm on Monday 8th March.

Julia is Co-Founder of The Anti-Slavery Collective (TASC); an independent collective fighting against the global epidemic of modern slavery. By launching TASC Julia and her co-founder, HRH Princess Eugenie, are endeavouring to raise awareness, convene changemakers, and highlight the amazing work of the movement against modern slavery.

Julia will discuss how she first heard about the issue of modern slavery, the founding of TASC and their aim to become one of the largest global platforms for information and collaboration in the anti-slavery movement.

Hosted by Club President Catherine Stewart (LI 1974-76), the talk will last for approximately one hour and be followed by a Q&A.
