Latest Lockdown – Update from the College and the Marlburian Club
In light of the new COVID-19 lockdown, we are sharing an update on both the College and our Marlburian Club activity.
Following the Government announcement made on the evening of Monday 4th January, Marlborough College is operating as a Virtual School with a full online provision of academic, co-curricular, pastoral and spiritual programmes. Lent Term 2021 starts as published on Tuesday 5th January and Virtual School will operate for all pupils through to half-term which starts on Friday 12th February. The College is only open for the children of essential workers and pupils classed as vulnerable. The College campus is closed to visitors at this time.
It is business as usual as far as possible but the Marlburian Club and Development team are now all working from home. They can all still be contacted as normal via email. If you phone you will need to leave a message but this can be picked up remotely. Please do stay in touch with us and continue to let us know your news. And don’t forget you can stay in touch with the whole Marlburian community virtually through MC Global Connect. If you have not signed up yet, you can register here.
Our programme of virtual events , including the next Marlburian Monday with Jonny Oates (PR 1982-87) and Tom Newton Dunn (C2 1986-91) in conversation, continues as planned.
