Third Sector Professional Networking Event
The OM Not For Profit Professional Network warmly invites all present and past Marlburians with an interest in this sector to an evening of virtual networking hosted by Mayoor Patel BCAo (PR 1973-77) on the 5th November at 8pm.
The event will begin with a presentation from Mayoor followed by a Q&A and audience discussion. Audience participation is very much encouraged and we would like to invite any audience members currently working for or associated with a charity to give a 30 second outline of their charity’s work during the event. If you would like to give an outline, please email events manager Fiona Cottrill to let us know so we can get an idea of numbers.
About the host
Mayoor Patel is the Founder of Polio Children, an international charity spanning four continents – as well as a trustee, consultant and supporter of numerous other worthy causes. A finance executive by trade, Mayoor is knowledgable on how to create an ‘empowerment fund’ for yourself: passive income that will allow you to pursue your passion projects. Passionate about educating others, Mayoor is keen to share his wealth of knowledge on this topic. Originally from Uganda, having moved to the UK following the 1972 exodus, Mayoor’s back story is as fascinating as his work is inspiring.
The goal of this network is to bring like-minded Marlburians together so we can support each other in meeting the right people, advancing our causes and achieving a greater impact by working collectively.
To join us for this event, you will need to make sure you have signed up to Zoom and then, on the night, follow the link in the email we sent you. If you have not received the link, please email us here to request it.
