
Teaching children resilience through literature
The Times+ are holding an event on Thursday 27th August discussing the healing power of literature for children, featuring Cressida Cowell (BH 1982-84).
Also taking part will be the current Waterstones Children’s Laureate along with Dame Jacqueline Wilson, one of Britain’s most outstanding writers and Jasbinder Bilan, Winner of the 2019 Costa Children’s Book Award.

About Cressida Cowell
Cressida Cowell, currently the Waterstones Children’s Laureate (2019-2021), is the author and the illustrator of the bestselling book series The Wizards of Once and How to Train Your Dragon. She is also the author of the Emily Brown picture books, illustrated by Neal Layton.
