Marlburian Mondays – Charlie Cannon (C2 1990-95) ‘Building Resilience in Uncertain Times’
We are pleased to announce that Marlburian Mondays are back! OMs of all ages enjoyed the first series of talks held during lockdown and we are very happy to be continuing with them. The second series will begin on 14th September at 8pm and talks will be held once a month.
Our first speaker for this new series is Charlie Cannon (C2 1990-95), a motivational speaker and performance coach who has worked with many different organisations, including the Metropolitan Police. A traumatic event in his early 20’s fundamentally changed his life, inspiring him to help people change theirs, by transforming the way they think, feel and behave in response to the challenges they face in work and life. Charlie’s talks are packed with stories, real-life experiences and practical tips in building resilience – don’t miss it!
To join us for this talk, you will need to make sure you have signed up to Zoom and then, on the night, follow the link in the email we sent you. If you have not received the link, please email us here to request it.
Once again, we will be recording the talk and posting it on the website for those who are unable to attend. If you would like to watch any of the previous talks, please click here.
Finally, if you have ideas for a talk or would like to give one yourself then please contact Fiona Cottrill.
