Visual Theology Conference

Old Marlburians are invited to attend ‘Ruskin and the Pre-Raphaelites: Sacre Conversazioni’, held in Chapel at the College later this month 21-22 September.

The College, along with the symposia Visual Theology, will bring academics, artists, and church leaders together to explore the legacy of John Ruskin and his ideas about theology and the arts, in this his bicentenary year.

Keynote speakers will be Professor Colin Cruise and the Right Reverend Nicholas Holtam Bishop of Salisbury, as well as the Ruskin specialist, Professor George P. Landow, who travelling from the States.

OMs, parents, pupils and local residents are especially welcome to attend the Service of Rededication on the Sunday morning, without purchasing the ticket fee for attending the conference.
