Monday 16th January 1917
One hundred years ago 44 Old Marlburians sat down to an eight-course dinner in the small garrison town of Bailleul close to the fighting around Ypres.
Today in Norwood Hall the kitchens have replicated three of those courses for the College lunch and the choir will sing the school song.
Next weekend a group of pupils from B1 with their parents will visit the Western Front around Ypres and commemorate with a dinner those who fought there 100 years ago.
