East Sussex Dinner

20 East Sussex OMs met for their annual casual get-together on Friday 11th November at the Star pub at Waldron near Heathfield.

As usual the noise level was high and it was particularly noticeable how all the different generations present seemed to have so much in common. After much good food and wine, the evening closed with the ritual singing of ‘The Old Bath Road’ – though sadly some of the younger members did not seem familiar with this Marlborough classic. It was left to us ‘oldies’ to keep the tradition going!
