Polio Children wins first Charity Clarity award

POLIO Children a UK and US based charity has been awarded the first Charity Clarity award organised by the Asian Voice group of newspapers.

The Charity originating in Ilford was awarded in the fundraising category at the inaugural ceremony held last Friday at the Sheraton hotel, Park Lane, London.

The award was given in recognition as a showcase for excellence in non-profit organisations which operate in Great Britain and globally and offer a priceless leg-up to organisations that are delivering practical solutions to present-day problems. Charity Clarity rating gives Polio Children further international exposure.

“We are delighted to be selected out of so many entries. It goes to validate our performance and accountability ” commented a delighted Arun Patel (Chairman, Polio Children).

Mayoor Patel BCAo (PR 1973-77) of Bolton collected the award for Polio Children and stated: ‘It is an honour to accept this award on behalf of all the children we have the privilege of serving around the world’.
