Shepherd appointed executive director of Theatre503

ANDREW Shepherd (LI 1993-98) has been appoint Executive Director of Theatre503, replacing Jeremy Woodhouse.

Shepherd is the founder of theatre company ACS Random, which he set up in 2002 and which focuses on developing new writing. He will join the south London theatre when Woodhouse leaves in February to become associate producer for English Touring Theatre.

Shepherd, who is also an actor and writer, said he was “thrilled to be joining the venue, adding: “As a passionate advocate for new writing and supporting emerging talent, it’s incredibly exciting to be part of one of London’s best venues for groundbreaking new work.”

Shepherd will work with Theatre503’s artistic director Paul Robinson, who described him as “perfect fit” for the role.
